Nutrasumma- Is an excellent product for those looking to get clean, gluten-free supplements into their body. Most proteins out there are filled with junk like artificial colors and sweeteners, chemicals and low quality whey. Nutrasumma is different. Their pea protein makes it possible to enjoy tasty, wholesome vegetarian protein in a large amount like the 20 grams each scoop of Nutrasumma has. There are so many ways to enjoy the pea protein from drinking it straight up or adding it to oatmeal or recipes to increase the protein. I have loved having supplements that assist in my fitness goals and are gluten-free. Stacking great Nutrasumma supplements like arginine, glutamine and creatine along with pea protein makes for the ultimate aide to getting wholesome pre and post workout ingredients into your body fast!

When you look at the results below from last year, please know that I have had two babies. The first I gained 50 lbs. and the second I gained 60 lbs. Losing all the weight and especially that stubborn tummy have been tough but I FINALLY starting to see my abs again after making nutrition and fitness changes! Here were my results at 5 weeks in.

IMG_7350For my meals, I was eating LOTS of lean protein (like over 140 grams a day) and tons of greens. I also ate certified gluten free oats every morning and brown or wild rice, sweet potatoes, beans or lentils at lunch and dinner. I enjoyed good fats like raw or natural peanut butter daily and a little coconut oil, nuts or Vegenaise on occasion. Here is what a sample day looked like for me.

Nutrasumma all-natural, gluten-free supplements and pea protein powder helped me get on track with my gluten-free fitness journey last year! I write an article in the Jan/Feb 2014 issue of Delight Gluten Free Magazine about the benefits of this great protein. I talk about how it is great for those who want to increase their protein intake but don’t want to use whey. I even included two yummy recipes! Here’s a little magazine teaser for you… ;)
